Thankful Thursday

Natalie dresses in "Native American" attire every Thanksgiving.

These guys are always so much fun to eat with.

My little turkey.

Papa can make even brussels sprouts taste fantastic!

Mine.

So sweet I can hardly stand it!
Hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving, too!

The Pam

Me: "Hey, Pam, I don't think we took any pictures together this trip! Let's take some now!"
Pam: "Okay!"
Thanks for coming, Pam! The week went by waaay too fast. You are my all-time favorite tush-tweaker!! Love you!!!!

Little Steps, Big Steps

This is not Heidi's most stellar attempt, but she's so darn cute and I thought I'd post it anyway, like a good mom. Don't you just love those first little baby steps?

Speaking of steps.....

WE'RE MOVING!!

Yes, you read that correctly.

We're scared to death about leaving our ward and the people we love so much here. BUT, other than that we are SOOO excited!! It's pretty much a dream come true: We'll be much, much closer to Jeff's work--which means his children may occasionally see him while the sun is shining. We'll be closer to my family--which means I'll get to hug and kiss my niece, nephews, and cousins on a more regular basis. We'll be in a better school district (nothing personal, Mililani Waena). We'll have more room!! The kids will have a yard!!

And it just so happens that we are in love with the house, which may look a bit familiar to some of you.....

Long live the Manoa Hallstroms!!!!!!

This Is For You, Matt!

I've got several thoughts vying for the caption on this, but I think I'll just leave it as is.

Man, I love my friends.

Party Peeps

Thank You, Summit Entertainment, for providing me with a fantastic excuse to spend a fun night yesterday with these fun ladies:

Oh, and thanks for the awesome flick, too. We'll catch your act again tomorrow night!

Our Version of Homeschooling

At breakfast this morning I overheard the following exchange:

Braden: We're smarter than Adam and Eve because they thought that atoms were the smallest thing, but we know that electrons are smaller.

Natalie: Actually, Braden, I don't think they even had atoms back then.

Snicker With Me

Quick post:

Asher's hanging out in my room and he's singing something about two superheroes--Edward and Nephi.

Don't you just love the things kids pick up at home?
